"Code of Ethics for Lecturers of International Business College" I. Introduction In order to maintain the reputation and image of the International Business College, ensure teaching quality and academic integrity, this code of ethics for lecturers is specially formulated. This code applies to all lecturers teaching at the International Business College, including cooperative activities after graduation. II. Basic Ethical Principles 1. Uphold the principle of honesty and trustworthiness, and remain true and accurate in teaching, research and communication with students. 2. Respect the individuality, background and viewpoints of students, and shall not discriminate or show prejudice against any student. 3. Comply with laws and regulations, and shall not engage in any illegal activities. III. Teaching-related Norms 1. Prepare lessons meticulously, provide high-quality teaching content, and ensure the effectiveness and adaptability of teaching methods. 2. Evaluate students' learning achievements impartially, and shall not show favoritism or discrimination against any student. 3. Respond to students' questions and concerns promptly, and provide necessary guidance and support. IV. Research and Academic Norms 1. Abide by academic ethics, and strictly prohibit academic misconduct such as plagiarism and theft of intellectual property. 2. Accurately cite and reference the research results of others, and follow academic norms. V. Cooperation Norms after Graduation 1. If lecturers privately undertake cooperation outside and use the name of the college, they must report to the college in advance.    - For example: If a lecturer receives a cooperation invitation from another institution and hopes to enhance the influence of the cooperation by leveraging the name of the International Business College, they should report the specific content and form of the cooperation to the college immediately after reaching a preliminary intention with the other party. 2. Any related cooperation or charging behavior without the permission of the college's announcement will not be recognized by the college.    - For instance: If a lecturer conducts a cooperative training project with an external enterprise and collects fees without obtaining the recognition of the college's announcement, the college will not recognize the legality of such cooperation. 3. All consequences arising from cooperation that has not been announced and permitted by the college, including but not limited to economic losses, legal disputes and reputational damages, shall be the sole responsibility of the lecturer.    - Suppose a lecturer, without the consent of the college, conducts a business activity with a third party in the name of the college, resulting in compensation liability due to problems in the activity. The college will not bear any compensation obligation, and all losses shall be borne by the lecturer personally. VI. Supervision and Handling of Violations 1. The college will regularly supervise and evaluate the behavior of lecturers. 2. For lecturers who violate this code of ethics, the college will impose measures such as warnings, suspension of teaching qualifications and termination of the cooperation relationship depending on the severity of the violation.
